It is a well-known fact that Big Fish Games offers its users not only standard version of the games but so-called Collector’s Editions that are available only for members of Big Fish Games Game Club. Till recently, they were also available for affiliates. Today the situation has changed.

Now you can enter into German market by the means of two game affiliate programs – Alawar and BigFishGames. Alawar’s games base contains 150 download games, by the way, 51 of these titles are not available on BigFishGames. If you join Alawar you’ll get sets of exclusive games that can be highly appreciated by your guests.

If you want to add to your game resource this German game content by Alawar, you must register a new account. Just choose Games language field, German.

The control panel has got a standard interface with common features. Well-organized list of statistics let you observe different information about this or that game for varying lengths of time. There you can see what kind of games are downloaded or bought, percent conversion (the list is always graded by the number of purchases). The conversion on German game market should be fine because European people prefer to buy rather than get it for free.

Different German promo materials (banners, skins) are not available yet. However,  Alawar are going to create different banners for the most popular German games in March or April or even earlier.

Noteworthy, to make a claim for payment in German affiliate program, you have to sing in Russian affiliate program but using German affiliate program’ s login and password. The accurate information about commission per game sale on German market will be declared in the near ten days.

Let us sum up the main points of the reformation by affiliate program:

1. The old affiliate program Principal Network Partner and My Game Space were abolished and were substituted for the new affiliate program named BigFishGames Affiliate Program (BFGAP).
2. New affiliate program is not multilevel any more, i.e. recruited web-master is honorary now.
3. The part of users is shared, but BigFishGames’s users are still not available. See the diagram:
   
   • All users who bought the game more than a year ago and were active during the previous year, remained to be BigFishGames’ customers.
   • All users who bought games up to February 5, 2009 and were Inactive during the previous year, will be available for other affiliates and can be a referral according to the “last refer” system.
   • The affiliates will keep the users, who made their first purchase after February 5, 2009.
4. There is a new referral system – “last to refer”. According to this system, if your referrede user did no purchase during 90 days, he can be taken away by some other affiliate. But if you are the last who recruit this buyer and he bought a game, this user will be yours during the year and you will earn commission from every purchase he makes.
5. According to the new affiliate program the affiliate earn 70% commission from every purchase. The rate is high, of course, but you should remember that it is 70% from NetRevenue, i.e. from the profit on the sale, minus 42% royalty and for BigFishGames, minus taxes and so on and so forth. All in all, affiliate earns only 40,6% of Gross revenue.
6. New statistics and facts. The earned income statistics has changed. Now you are able to see your income graph during the day. However, there is no chance to observe income history. Today you can see also the statistics of your users.
   Affiliate program plans to create downloading and purchase game statistics (Games Reports). It helps you to keep an eye on games popularity. Also there are so-called Campaign Reports, which let you track the most popular links that lead you to the purchases with the help of sub-codes.
7. There were added new fields to XML-feed, such as: 9 new game genres, links to game video and to game flash banner.
8. Today the cookie afsrc  is not used any more to set some affiliate code, but tookie is used now.
   The features of affiliate links have been changed. To be able to work with the new system feature afcode=[afcode] is replaced by afcode=[afcode]&channel=affiliates&identifier=[afcode]
9. Consequently, Terms of Service have been altered, too. We advise you to acquaint yourself with it.

Where are some little differences in plugin setting on an active blog:

1. What is the most important to use ZME plugin is your blog must be WordPress blog and you must have the possibility to set up new plugins.
2. Then you can proceed to  sign-up for Zamango and affiliate programs you have chosen (BigFishGames, Reflexive, Alawar, GameBoss, Turbogames, ИГРОMoney.  At the moment, Zamango offers games in seven languages from six different affiliate programs. For more information see Zamango’s Casual Games Base. After you have enter the system, you get links on registration pages (we offer to review some advices on sign-up in different partner programs).
3. In each affiliate program you get Partner ID or Affiliate ID. This data must be put on settings of your Zamango personal profile. This operation is necessary to use your ID in download links creating, so as exactly you who get charge from games sold on your blog.
   
4. You have to decide which games and on which languages will be posted on your blog (on your blog page), and create a channel. To do it pass in the section Content Channels.  There are pre-installed channels that you can edit: change name, change the affiliate program priority, choose genres of the games that will be placed on you blog.
   
   If the default channels are not enough you can create you own one with desired settings. Pay your attention that for one channel you can choose only one language.
   
5. Than tune the plugin. Download the latest version of ZME and copy the archive content in folder/wp-content/plugins/ of your blog.
6. Enter into the control panel of your blog, section Plugins, find Zamango Money Extractor. Press Activate.
   
   
7. After the activation button Zamango M.E. appears (right down).
   Press it and enter the page of plugin management.
   
   Here you have to enter your login, the same that you use to enter the Zamango service system, and enter the name of the channel you will use. You have a large choice between the game’s post layouts by dint of set terms (press Help… to see the list). Post name layout sets the template for the name formation of game’s post. This is the great tool for  SEO. In a field Random words you enumerate key-words comma separated that will add at random in the post name. If you want, you can change Excerpt layout and Content layout (use the button Help… and Preview…)
8. After run-up you can easily press the button Sindicate. Posts will be imported and the games will be appeared on your blog. Import of the game posts goes step-by-step, so you have to press Continue a several times, and set the amount of imported posts at a time.
