BigFishGames’ partner affiliation program – overview

As you can see from the title, BigFishGames affiliation program offers you to sell games and get percentage for your job. This program is designed for beginners, who can’t afford having a hosting and a domain, and for average affiliates, who know exactly how to use various engines by installing them on the hosting, and who are not bewildered by words like «fix PHP-scripts”. Those, who like maximum customization, detailed reports on sales and stuff like that, probably won’t fit into this program. Also you’d better look for another program if you have a poor knowledge of English language, because this program is oriented to English speaking market. If you have Russian IP, you won’t even be able to download a game there.

To earn respect of those who “click”, read e-mails for money, and of those who just surf the internet, we would like to say several word about BigFishGames company itself. Unlike most of “brand new”, “stable”, and other “excellent” companies established yesterday, which allow you to earn your 5 dollars, BigFishGames exists from 2002 and is one of a few (less then 10) key players on the casual games market. This company has a turnover over 1 billion dollars, and, as rumors would have it, today it is the fattest company on the market.

These fat guys have been preparing their partner program for a very long time, rumors about it were spreading for years untill the program was canceled in 2006, which caused lots of commotion in american press. To tell straight, the idea was extremely innovative – to draw attention of housewives (who are the major buyers of this product) to the sales and make everything in the form of MLM pyramid. It looked like exactly like that – [click here] – each housewife must have a page in the internet! :)

In our opinion, this idea failed cause it produced no booming sales, and the top consisted of semi-professionals. Probably, because of this in Februaryof 2007 BigFishGames company announced  its new product for partners, called Principal Network Partner affiliate program. These fat guys were drawing graphs and advertising its positive qualities, but of all it was in vain. This program is a perfect example of “traditional” affiliate partner program. Traditional doesn’t mean that this program is bad – you just need to filter promo stuff  from useful information.

(Here you can see the picture designed to zombify your brain)

BFG PNP program

Among new features we have to mention that this was the first multilevel partner program, cause nobody has ever done anything like this, except BigFishGames.

BigFishGames company used another interesting method – they attach client to the affiliate forever. It’s obvious that clients change their e-mails, operating systems, but nevertheless in all the partner programs the client was “milked” by the company under which ID the good was sold. Here the profit goes to the one who first brings the client into the “system”. That’s why we need to hurry up and grab as many clients as we can while they are still there :) This attach is provided by the correlation of the e-mail entered while buying or downloading a game, with the affiliate account.

The next feature of this program was a build-in “spam-machine” – you can put there e-mails of your “friends” in it and send them an invitation to become a member of the “elite club”, or to buy a game :) The e-mails in the list will be booked for you during 90 days, and those who don’t enter their e-mails on BigFishGames during this period, will be deleted, but you can always add them again :)

Update: on the 10 September of 2008 the “spam-machine” option was disabled. Probably, guys from Bigfish had made a mistake, payed for it and decided to stop attracting customers that way.

“Add Friends” and “Email Friends” features disabled

We’re sorry to announce that we’ve disabled the “Add Friends” and “Email Friends” features in My Game Space. Big Fish Games takes email abuse very seriously and has a Zero Tolerance Policy for bulk mail. You can still use “Quick Invite” to invite up to 5 friends to your Game Space. Read the Terms of Use for more information.

The most important quality of the program is the uniqueness of the content, cause many games are released first on BigFishGames, while other members of the market release them only in a month, when all the cream is already taken off. These fat guys can afford acting that way! So if a new hit game has been released on the Bigfish, you have only two options: to ignore the sweet process of taking off the cream, or to participate in their partner program.

Another nice thing is that the program applies to all the services of BigFishGames, from selling games or entering Online Community, to entering the Game Club.

Ok then, enough with the features. I think everybody has already made sure that this partner affiliate program is a good choice and is in hurry to sign up for the program here.

To sum up we are going to show you some statistical data. The second line shows you the amount of registered buyers, and the third – top 10 affiliates for the whole period.

Some people might find these figures ridiculous. Others will tell that Umax top gets this amount per day, so on and so forth. But what I don’t understand is why those people are reading this article anyway? Now, it’s up to you to rise to the top of this statistics. Also, I want to add that here you build up your “life” source of income, and later it will bring revenue without you making any efforts, which is not going to work on Umax.
